Frequently Asked Questions
How Do I Submit to The Santa Fe Literary Review?
Santa Fe Literary Review invites submissions of poetry, fiction, and
nonfiction of a general literary interest as well as visual arts. If
accompanied by a self-addressed, stamped envelope, submissions will be
returned. Submissions are accepted on a year-round basis, to be read in
the winter. Please include full contact information on each page: name,
phone number, e-mail, etc. Please address all correspondence to:

What Are You Looking For?
We favor short well-crafted stories that deliver a punch. Submit up to
three stories. In terms of poetry, we are open to all styles. Send 3-5
poems per submission. And we always need artwork, particularly black and
white work that reproduces well.
Can Anyone Submit, Or Is the Review Just For Students?
Anyone can submit. We’re proud to publish enrolled students,
nontraditional students, former students, staff, and faculty at SFCC. We
also emphasize work from our extended community citywide, and are open
to work from anywhere in the world!
What Is the Current Deadline?
For the 2008 issue, we need work in hand by November 15. Our decisions
should be made by early winter, and the next issue will be out in
spring’ 08.
Who Are the Editors?
Editors are a volunteer staff that reads all submissions and makes
decisions. To join the staff, contact Miriam Sagan at 428-1816. In some
cases, independent study credit may also be available for working on the
magazine.
